Kurzweil 2000 Setup
Drag these items to the Environment/Extensions folder:
Device Setup
K2000 Setup
After restarting SCOM you have K2000 controllers and sounds in the Palette menus.
Notice that K2000 uses two program changes, one for selecting bank and the other
selects the program. In this case write programs as (multi 1 2)
Yamaha MU80 Setup
Drag this item to the Environment/Extensions folder:
MU80 Setup
After restarting SCOM you have MU80 controllers and sounds in the Palette menus.
Notice that MU80 uses controller 32 to select bank. This is sent by SCOM when you
write programs as (bank 1 2).
Write Your Own
To reflect your studio setup edit the Device Setup file. You can also consider writing
controllers and sounds of your other synthesizers in a similar way. Open the Setup
files and follow the example. Refer to your synthesizer manual for controller codes
and program numbers. If your synth does not use banks you can use single values to
setup programs.
